Loop hero astral orb reddit12/22/2023 ![]() ![]() Much more so than on Chapter 1, you need to be extremely deliberate with what tiles you place into your deck and where you place them on the map. Either place roadside tiles blocking off all spaces Bandits could appear on, Oblivion the Encampments when they spawn, or place Vampire Manors next to your Villages to turn them into Ransacked Villages/Count's Lands which are immune to banditry. Bandits spawned from Bandit Encampments created when you play every second village have a chance to destroy your gear. You can mitigate this by playing a Blood Grove near any Ruins tiles. Scorch Worms in the Ruins have a 40% chance of fleeing, which doesn't drop any rewards. This makes fights in the swamp a lot easier than in Chapter 1, because they end fairly quickly. Mosquitos will explode after making 7 attacks, dealing damage to all enemies. This has its ups and downs, it makes the fight harder, but it also makes it easier to farm specific materials, particularly the Orb of Unity (which only drops from Liquid and Swarm enemies, and the Bats count as a swarm) and the Orb of Expansion (only drops from fights with 5 or more enemies, and the more enemies the better). This adds an additional enemy that targets any minions you might have first, and has an aura that can make you skip your attacks with a 10% chance. Vampires will summon a bat swarm when they're on half HP. ![]() The biggest difference between chapters 1 & 2 is the fact that enemies have additional abilities. Chapter two yields a lot more materials, because you can get advanced orbs rather than just basic resources. ![]()
